Today, me and my group
members (Alia Abdulla, Nehaya, Zulikha and Fatma Al Matrooshi) visited Madinat
jumeirah for Industry Project course project. We interviewed Mr.
Khlid Shahdur the Director of Sales Government and Diplomatic at Jumeirah Group.
This below details is some information about Madinat jumeirah and our research paper focus task
which requested by the Mr.Khlid.
Background: Madinat Jumeirah is a
member of Jumeirah Group which was established in 1997 with an ambition of
becoming a hospitality leader by establishing a world class luxury hotels and
resorts. In 2004 it became a member of Dubai Holding. It’s motto is a promise
of STAY DIFFIRENT. This is done by
offering luxurious, generous services through its series of hotels, resorts and
entertainment places and centers. It includes Wild Wadi Waterpark,
Madinat Jumeirah Hotel, Souk Madinat Jumeirah and many other similar facilities
situated in the UAE.
Madinat Jumeirah group
represents a vital member in reflecting the luxurious side of Dubai as a world
destination for luxurious tourism services. It takes the guests into places
which combine historic beauty of heritage with new luxury.
Our research project
deals with the position of Madinat Jumeirah in the market. It also deals with
its business activities and how to enhance its business in the field of
ballrooms wedding parties. It lies in a superb location along Jumeirah beach line.
It is close to Dubai Media City and the Palm Jumeirah.
Our role will be finding
ways of attracting more local customers to their wedding ballrooms. The
research includes SWOT analysis to the company as well. In addition to
that, we will shed the light on the services offered by this group and see how
successful they were in doing their business. Our focus will be on
wedding ballrooms in their resorts.
